One of our clients’ World Kitchen Pty Ltd, based in Ballarat, VIC needs a skilled and experienced Operation Manager to join their team to contribute to the potential growth of the business in near future by ensuring food quality, safety, hygiene and smooth operations of every aspect of the manufacturing operations. This is a full-time role for right candidate.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Bachelor degree or higher qualification.
• At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
• In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
• Full-time working rights in Australia.
Tasks Include:
• Determining right production strategies to ensure timely preparation
• Implementing and monitoring new production strategies to ensure continuous improvement
• Developing policies, procedures and plans for existing and new production strategies in line with company goals
• Planning production activities for different product items
• Planning processes to ensure quality
• Planning cost and labour requirements
• Controlling the entire operation of production facility
• Controlling kitchen and quality procedures
• Ensuring maintenance and supply of equipment as per need or emerging needs of the operations
• Monitoring output as per orders
• Ensuring strict cost control
• Coordinating with internal stake holders about production matters
• Monitoring purchase and installation of new equipment
• Conducting latest research into production methods, and recommending and implementing initiatives
• Preparing production records and reports
• Ensuring occupational health and safety requirements are met throughout
• Monitoring and directing staff activities and their performance
Salary - $75,000 plus super
