Arches Bar is looking for an innovative and experienced Venue Manager with the craftsmanship in creating first class experience and top-notch sequence of service for our guests and patrons.
Featuring an elegant and poetic take on the elements of modern design meets Swiss craftsmanship, Swissotel Sydney’s exciting new bar will elevate Sydney’s nightlife to new heights of sophistication.
Salary: $85K to $88K + super, pending on experience.
What you will be doing:
• As our Venue Manager, you will use your unrivalled knowledge of industry trends to ensure efficient, hospitable and professional service is provided to all guests and patrons.
• Beyond being a beverage enthusiast, you will take ownership of the guest experience through the flawless delivery of service and immaculate attention to detail in every aspect of the art of barmanship.
• Set up systems to protect and maintain control of bar service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry out regular stock takes.
• Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure.
• Create monthly / seasonal promotion in the bar
• Support the Food & Beverage Management team
• This role requires the availability to work late evenings, weekdays, weekend and public holidays.
About You
• At least 3 years' of previous experience in managing bespoke venues
• Hands-on, customer focussed and can lead by example
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
• Hold a valid work right to work in Australia
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card
