GBS Mates is looking for a qualified and experienced Panel Beater to work and be part of their team.
Main Role:
Assesses and repairs damage to cars, and repaints them if needed. Their duties include checking vehicles for exterior or frame damage, carrying out any necessary repairs to restore the vehicle’s condition, and mending scratches, dents and other damage to the paintwork.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assessing vehicles for damage and providing quotes and insurance reports
- Removing damaged parts
- Using specialist tools and machinery, e.g. hydraulic equipment and pneumatic saws
- Straightening damaged panels or creating new ones
- Filling holes and hammering dents out of panels
- Spraying panels with paint to match the vehicle colour
A remuneration package between $70,000 to $90,000 per year plus superannuation.
