Key Solutions Group is looking for a qualified and experienced Fitter/Technician to work and be part of their team.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
• Ensure adherence to all occupational health and safety (OH&S) statutory obligations.
• Ensure compliance of KSG quality and safety standards and policies at all times.
• Participate in tool box talks, JSA reviews and complete specific training as required.
• Ensure that tasks are completed on time and to client requirements.
• To maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment.
• Keep supervisor up to date with tasks / projects being completed.
• Operate company equipment/plant in a safe and responsible manner.
• Actively promote and adhere to company values and mission statement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Undertake equipment, mechanical / hydraulic inspection & repairs.
• Undertake work in accordance with job timelines.
• Ensure all critical information, dimensions, wear or abnormal defects are highlighted with photos and recorded.
• Ensure all quality controls documentation is accurately completed.
• On time delivery of all activity with no defects.
• Actively promote and adhere to company values and mission statement.
• Keep accurate daily work records and report any issues including major repairs or equipment replacement.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks in workshop and repair areas.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Manager
• If in doubt report to your supervisor.
KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
• Trade knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, specialising in Longwall Equipment.
• Fitter / Mechanic, trade qualifications.
• Understanding of hydraulic schematics and hosing layout (essential requirement).
• High proven safety standard.
• Can do attitude towards work tasks.
• HR licence (desirable)
• Forklift, EWP and Franna tickets (desirable)
A remuneration package between $70,000 to $90,000 per year plus superannuation.
