Federal Government Department seeking Senior Leasing Officer for fixed-term contract OR S26 permanent transfer Your new company
Large, high-profile Federal Government Department who enhance agricultural industries and trade, and manage the biosecurity risks to Australia. They are currently seeking APS6 Senior Leasing Officer to join their Property and Security Branch.
Your new role
Assist to deliver the department's strategic approach to its property portfolio covering property lease acquisitions, management and disposals.
Assist to undertake property lease negotiations, acquisitions and divestments.
Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence with stakeholders to support property-related decisions.
Undertake procurements required to support leasing, acquisitions, divestments and property related activities.
Work in collaboration with the department's Property Service Provider in relation to leasing activities
Provide strategic advice and assistance to the Senior Executives and stakeholders based on technical expertise in one or more role specific disciplines.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in Leasing management
Ideally, you will have Federal Government exposure within a leasing capacity.
Understanding of Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 is beneficial.
Strong decision-making ability and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
What you'll get in return
12-month Non-Ongoing contract with a large Federal Government Department or Permanent S26 transfer if you are a current permanent equivalent level in APS
Salary $91k - $104k + superannuation of 15.4%
