Qualification & Work Experience
• AQF Diploma or above + Minimum 2 years of work experience

• AQF Certificate III or above + Minimum 4 years of work experience
Skills & requirements
• You are qualified LV Fitter looking for a change, challenge and variety
• Fluent with repairing Toyota Landcruiser highly regarded
• You have a valid, open Australian Driver’s Licence
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
Job description
• Providing mechanical servicing and support in the workshop.
• Preventative maintenance and repairs to our LV fleet.
• Repairing or replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Removing and reassembling engines, brakes, transmissions and steering gear.
• Performing routine maintenance and checks.
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
• dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
• repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
• performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
• reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
• testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
• Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
• Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
• Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
• Perform vehicle assessments and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.
