CHEF ($70-$75K pa)
Mealtimes are the highlight of the day for many of our residents. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef who will provide healthy and nutritious meals, create an enjoyable kitchen and dining experience for staff and residents.
As the Chef, you will report directly to the Executive Chef and Home Manager and be responsible for creating and providing fresh, high-quality meals for our residents. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen and dining rooms, including supervising staff to ensure smooth operations. In this role you will also have daily interactions with both residents and their families.
What do I need for the role:
Cert IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification.
Experience in large volume food production.
Knowledge of and experience in preparing texture modified diets.
Understanding of aged care legislation and Accreditation standards.
Previous experience Aged Care/ Hospital Kitchens is desirable.
