Sails Lavender Bay is currently recruiting for Chefs to join our friendly and motivated team. From 2 hatted fine dining to stunning waterfront views and relaxed café fare, Sydney Restaurant Group is diverse, offering a range of restaurant experiences to suit every occasion.
Sails Lavender bay is located on the water overlooking the harbour with stunning views of the city and the harbour bridge.
Some of your main duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Preparation and cooking of menu items;
• Ensuring food safety regulations are adhered to at all times;
• Ensuring the standard of food is of the highest quality;
• Training of kitchen staff
We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
• Relevant Diploma qualification and/or 2-3 years of relevant employment experience;
• Ability to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure;• Reliable, punctual and trust worthy;
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene;
• Must work well in a team environment;
• Positive attitude and passion for cooking;
• Sound understanding of HACCP & Food and Safety Regulations & requirements;
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
Job Type: Permanent Full-time
Salary Package: $70,000 to $80,000 plus Super depending on qualifications and experience.
