ABOUT BOMBETTA RESTAURANT & BAR:
Bombetta Restaurant & Bar is a chic Italian dining venue located in Noosa Heads, offering a blend of traditional rustic Italian cuisine and contemporary urban decor. The restaurant features a sophisticated setting with black subway tiles, high ceilings, and polished concrete floors, all within a split-level, air-conditioned space. Our menu highlights include fresh market fish, house-made gnocchi, thin-base pizzas, delicious pastas, sizzling garlic prawns, chicken parmigiana, beef sirloin, and our signature Bombetta meatballs. Complementing the dining experience, we offer a smart wine list, tasty cocktails, and professional service.
ROLE SUMMARY:
As the Restaurant Manager at Bombetta Restaurant & Bar, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing service delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality in both food and service. Your role will involve strategic planning, financial management, and fostering a positive team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a cohesive work environment.
Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing guest feedback, resolving issues, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability while ensuring quality and service standards are met.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, maintaining stock levels, and reducing waste.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update the menu, ensuring it aligns with seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
Marketing & Promotions: Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on financial performance, customer feedback, and staff performance for the restaurant owner.
REQUIREMENTS:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Diploma in commercial cookery or similar.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably within a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to managing challenges.
High attention to detail with a focus on quality and service standards.
A strong understanding of Italian cuisine and wine, as well as current food and beverage trends.
