On behalf of Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation, the primary aim of Marra Worra Worra is to work with Bunuba, Gooniyandi, Wangkatjungka, Walmajarri and Nyikina groups in the Fitzroy Valley to strengthen culture, support community and create sustainable employment solutions. We are searching for a capable Business Development Manager.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the following duties:
o Assist MWW group of entities to diversify and strengthen its position as leading organisation in community development
o Build a strong clientele base and enhance the relationship with service recipients
o Develop suitable business plans for the various programs and strategic business units (SBU's) and assist the team to implement them effectively
o Drive the organization's marketing and PR initiatives to raise the profile of the organisation
o Seek new business and grant opportunities to advance on the organisations mission
o Mentor and train junior staff in areas such as customer service, problem solving and effective communication
o Assist the executive management team as necessary
About you:
o Current driver’s licence (manual)
o The ability to keep abreast of changes in Legislation and Regulations and to operate within legal principles and guidelines.
o Advanced negotiating skills
o Ability to maintain files and documentation
o Experience in sales and marketing
