Our restaurant serves authentic Indian cuisine in a fine dining setting. We maintain high standard of quality of our food and customer service.
We need a hardworking and enthusiastic full-time cook/chef who will be able to fit seamlessly into our team.
We are looking for someone who preferably meets the following expectations:
Is an Australian citizen/PR
Possesses an Australian trade certificate in Commercial Cookery
Has worked for at least 2 years as a cook/chef in restaurants offering Indian cuisine
Has proven record as a team player and works well with other staff in the kitchen
Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills
Has a passion for producing quality food and introducing innovative dishes to meet customer preferences from time to time
Be available for work on most weekends
Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
