Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in mining engineering;
Excellent leadership and communication skills;
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;
Skilled in mine planning and scheduling software (Deswik preferred);
First Class Mine Managers Certificate, or experience to qualify.
Position Duties:
Develop and implement optimum underground development, stope designs and mining methods. Optimise equipment requirements and minimise mining costs;
Deliver short, medium and long term mine plans, ensuring consistency to maintain continuity of the mine planning process;
Prepare underground mine development and production schedules;
