The Role We are seeking 4 motivated all-rounders to assist in a timber mill as a Sawyer in Kempsey, NSW from September 2024. The positions available are full-time. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Operate saws to cut logs into lumber.
Inspect logs for defects and determine cutting strategy.
Maintain and sharpen saw blades.
Adjust equipment for different cuts.
Ensure lumber meets quality and dimension standards.
Follow safety protocols. About you / Criteria The ideal candidates should have:
Ability to follow instructions carefully.
Physically fit.
A positive attitude toward work and willingness to learn.
Able to do repetitive lifting, processing, packing work.
Provide work availability.
