MK Equipment Services is a family-owned Heavy Vehicle Workshop based in Rocklea. We carry out servicing & repairs to all makes and models of light/heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, bus/coaches, engine re-conditioning and all associated work.
Overview of the position:
The successful Welders are to carry out repairs, maintenance & new work for exhausts, welding to a high standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Exhaust fabrication and fitting
* Can read, understand & interpret drawings or blueprint
* Welding and oxy cutting
Qualifications:
* Experienced in exhaust fabrication or the ability to read and understand drawings or blueprint to fabricate exhaust pipes
* Previous experience in automotive industry an advantage but not essential
* Trade qualified (desirable)
* A neat and organized worker who takes pride in their job.
* Must be able to work quickly but produce quality workmanship.
* Must have high attention to details
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 a year (commensurate to skills and experience)
