Full-Time Cook - Malaysian Cuisine
We are seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our team at Into Laksa Sydney Pty Ltd, located in the heart of Mascot. We offer an excellent working environment and a comprehensive package for the right candidate.
Position Details:
Permanent full-time position
38 hours per week
$75,000 per year + superannuation
Convenient location with good access to public transportation
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Familiar with cook processes of Malaysian food and have at least 2 years relevant working experience (prefer to have experience with Malaysian/ Singaporean/Indonesian restaurants).
· Good at cooking with a wok because our menu contains a lot stir-fry dishes.
· Have sound safety food handling knowledge and can always guarantee good food hygiene.
· Efficient in food preparation including cutting ingredients/seasoning/portioning/plating etc.
· Have a positive team spirit and delegate tasks to other kitchen staff respectfully, which help maintain a friendly and cooperative working environment.
· Assist the front house team if required to meet customer’s specific dietary requirements better.
· May assist with hiring and training new staff.
· May work with main chef from head office to design and develop new menu.
