Role Overview:
As a Receptionist & Administrative Assistant, you will be the professional first point of contact for the organisation, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and callers. You'll also provide vital administrative support to line managers, manage facilities-related tasks, and maintain high standards in all client-facing areas. The role requires a blend of strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Provide efficient administrative support to line managers, update the task tracking system (Jira), and ensure tasks are completed on time.
Facilities Management: Draft security documentation, schedule and manage routine maintenance, and coordinate with contractors for office plant maintenance. Some after-hours work may be required.
Reception Duties: Serve as the first point of contact, handle phone calls, visitor sign-ins, and manage external meeting room bookings. Assist visitors with WiFi and AV equipment.
Office Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of meeting rooms, waiting areas, and staff breakout spaces. Manage blinds, hot desk bookings, and refreshments for visitor meetings.
Qualifications:
Completion of a suitable administration or business support course (e.g., TAFE).
Experience using internal wikis like Confluence and task management systems like Jira.
A friendly, professional demeanor with a track record of reliability.
