About the role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong technical Company Accountant to join a respected listed property/ real estate group who are growing exponentially. Taking a hands-on approach, this role will support the CFO and Finance Manager.
The responsibilities: The main duties include:
Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment processing, and vendor management.
Assist with the management of the company's cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting
Month-end financial accounting closing process, including GL entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, P&L reviews etc.
Revenue forecasting and liaising with Local GMs.
Preparation of indirect tax returns (GST / BAS) for review.
Monitor and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Support the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist with year end Audit.
