Yes Hospitality Group is seeking a Housekeeping Accountant to manage the financial aspects of our housekeeping department. This role is vital to ensure accurate budgeting, tracking, and reporting of housekeeping-related expenses and resources.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage housekeeping department budgets, expenses, and financial reports.
Track inventory and cost of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the housekeeping department.
Monitor labor costs, scheduling, and payroll for housekeeping staff.
Ensure accurate invoicing and billing for external vendors and suppliers.
Work closely with housekeeping managers to forecast budgetary needs and optimize resources.
Conduct regular audits of expenses, supplies, and labor to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper allocation of expenses.
Maintain accurate records of expenditures, receipts, and financial transactions.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the housekeeping and hospitality industry.
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zero, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.
