We are looking for a journalist to join the Nine Radio Sydney newsroom. You will research, write, edit and present news bulletins.

- Edit and present accurate, informative and interesting news bulletins.
- Present live, timed-out bulletins as well as recorded bulletins.
- Generate ideas for stories, and follow leads from contacts, politicians, the public, media conferences and other sources.
- Research and write radio news stories.
- Conduct interviews with a variety of newsmakers.
- Exercise editorial judgement on the best angle from which to approach a story.
- Meet hourly and half hourly deadlines.
- Understand and comply with media law and industry codes of conduct and regulations, as well as completing necessary training and accreditation.
- Take direction from the Sydney News Director as well as shift editors.
