Melgrand is seeking a highly skilled and organized Solid Plasterer to join our innovative team. Your work will contribute to the creation of intricate and durable architectural features, enhancing both new constructions and restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
• Knowledge and understanding of different plasters and their uses on ornamental elements and facades.
• Measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard; lifting and positioning panels; securing them to walls, ceilings, and battens
• Batching and preparing different plasters and mortars to specific requirements
• Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings and other plaster or cementitious mouldings
• Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster or cementitious compounds, and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper
• Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement, and render to structures using trowels, leveling and smoothing coats to a uniform thickness
• Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfaces
• Creating decorative textures in finishing coats to enhance the aesthetic quality of the final product
• Collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure that all work aligns with project specifications and Melgrand’s quality standards
Requirements:
• Relevant qualification in solid plastering or a related field
• Minimum of 2.5 years of work experience, preferably within the architectural or precast industries
• Proficiency in advanced MS Office tools, particularly in managing complex data and design documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as AutoCAD or similar design platforms, is highly desirable
