Salary: $75,000 plus 11.5% superannuation
Position: Permanent, Full time

Our client, MANB Group Pty Ltd is operating a café The Coffee Club in Orange NSW under a franchise model of The Coffee Club one of the Australia’s largest home-grown café group. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Café Manager to oversee the operations of this thriving café. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the success of a well-established brand.

Your challenge will be to uphold guest expectations, employee requirements and profitability. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial brand with strong potential to grow within the business.

You will be responsible for all daily operations of the café inclusive of financial reporting, compliance, staff training, maintaining and creating exceptional customer relationships and being a true professional and face of the business. You will be reporting directly to the director. You will need proven experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant qualification at the level of an Australian Qualifications Framework equivalent Diploma or higher AND at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a café or restaurant.

In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Manage the daily operations of the café, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of baristas, waitstaff, and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of customer service and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with The Coffee Club’s operational standards, including food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Develop and manage staff rosters, ensuring optimal staffing levels while controlling labor costs.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste.
• Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgets, costs, and sales data, to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Monitor budgets, and work to improve profit margins
• Building strong customer relationships to continue growth
• Follow management procedures to effectively maintain cost budget percentage
• Optimise the potential and performance of the team to consistently deliver the expected results and ensure an exceptional dining experience is delivered
• Ensure facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions.
The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, be career focused and have strong leadership qualities.

Other key skills and experience will include:
• Demonstrated experience in customer service management.
• Sound knowledge and business and administrative practices
• Excellent understanding to interpret and apply legislation, policies and guidelines
• Ability to lead and train team
• Driven to achieve business goals in an efficient and effective manner

You must be a quick learner who is also reliable, creative, organized, hard-working and well-mannered. Our client is looking for a hands-on manager that will lead from the front.
