Are you ready to play a role in supporting our on-campus residents & contribute to the success of the Griffith Accommodation? We are seeking an enthusiastic & dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team. 

If you are an experienced administration professional or looking to take the next step in your career and want to broaden your horizons across a wide range of administrative functions, this is the perfect opportunity for you. 

What You'll Do:
As a Business Support Officer, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Accommodation Manager, including research, analysis, and project task responses.
  • Manage incident reporting, statistics, procedures, business documentation, marketing materials, website accuracy, and meeting coordination.
  • Support the Operations Coordinator in managing WHS, compliance, and legislative requirements, including inspections, process improvements, and training activities.
  • Assist the Residential Life Coordinator and Operations Coordinator with operational tasks as needed.
  • Oversee the day-to-day business functionality of the resident management software system and support system updates and changes

This is a full time, continuing position based at the Nathan campus. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary range
The full-time base salary for HEW Level 5 position is in the range of $76,236 - $85,525 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $89,197 - $100,064 per annum.

About you
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Eligibility for, or possession of, a Blue Card.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage various administrative elements effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
