We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level tax advisory services to a diverse client base, including individuals, SMEs, and large corporations.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with the client's business goals and comply with Australian tax regulations, including corporate tax, GST, and income tax.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of tax returns and compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements.
• Conduct financial investigations, and audits, and prepare detailed reports, advising on matters such as business purchases, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency, and taxation.
• Analyse and review operating costs, income, and expenditure to provide accurate financial insights.
• Provide assurance on the accuracy and compliance of financial reports with statutory requirements.
• Offer strategic financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans, and operations.
• Maintain and oversee the implementation of accounting systems, advising on the selection and application of computer-based systems.
• Liaise with financial institutions and brokers to establish and manage funds management arrangements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior consultants and staff, contributing to their professional development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CA/CPA/IPA) preferred.
• Public practice certificate from (CA/IPA) preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Hindi, Urdu, and English is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
