North Star Roofing & Maintenance Pty Ltd We are looking for a qualified and experienced Painting Trades Worker to join our team at North Start Roofing & Maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the painting residents and commercial properties. BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Duties Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, removing old paint/wallpaper, applying fillers, and repairing damaged areas Mix paints and match colours to client specifications Apply protective coatings Hang wallpaper and other wall coverings Assist with tasks such as erecting scaffolding and applying masking Clean brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Maintain tools and equipment Ensure a clean and safe work environment Responsibilities Deliver a high standard of finish on all painting projects Meet deadlines and budgets established for each project Work safely and adhere to all company health and safety regulations Follow instructions and work plans provided by supervisors Clean up work areas thoroughly upon completion of a job Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their concerns Qualification & Experience A Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or a relevant trade qualification Painter Experience in a variety of painting and decorating applications, including residential and commercial settings Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in the construction industry The ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A high level of attention to detail A reliable and punctual work ethic About Company North Start Roofing & Maintenance is a family-owned and operated painting business in Sydney.
