At our early childhood centre in the heart of the Whitsundays, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality educational environment for young children. We believe in fostering a love of learning, creativity, and respect in every child, and we are looking for an exceptional Centre Manager to lead our passionate team.


Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our early childhood centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, leadership, and a genuine passion for creating a positive and enriching environment for children, families, and staff.


Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, providing support, guidance, and professional development opportunities for staff.
Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that meet the developmental needs of all children.
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or queries.
Manage enrolments, budgets, and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the centre.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children, staff, and families.

Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Significant experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid Certificate.
