Position: Gastroenterology Consultant
Location: Adelaide, SA
Type: Part-Time, 18.75 hours per week

Salary: Total Indicative Remuneration $352,987 - $792,609 p.a. (pro rata) – MD2
About the Role:
- Join a dynamic team within a leading healthcare network, delivering high-quality care in gastroenterology.
- Contribute to comprehensive management of patients with gastroenterological conditions.
- Manage patient care in collaboration with Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, fellow Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals.
- Participate in on-call activities and ongoing quality assurance, including clinical meetings, teaching, and audits.
- Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement, patient safety, and clinical risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert gastroenterological care and management for allocated patients.
- Engage in strategic planning, policy formulation, and linkages with academic institutions and government agencies.
- Prepare reports and make recommendations to the Divisional Director (Medical) on unit management.
- Facilitate and maintain relationships with consumers, the broader community, and academic institutions.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Specialist qualifications and registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
- Significant experience in gastroenterology with a commitment to quality assurance and clinical education.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
