Join an esteemed accountancy firm in the CBD as a Receptionist/Administration Officer. As a vital team member you will play a crucial role in maintaining a professional front of house image and providing outstanding administrative support.

About the role:

Ensure all visitors receive a positive and efficient experience.
Answer and redirect telephone inquiries with precision.
Manage day-to-day office administration, including mail processing and electronic inquiries.
Support accountants and consultants with calendar coordination and file establishment.
Process client fees and ensure proper documentation collection.
Undertake general office administration tasks, such as photocopying and data-entry.
Prepare business communication letters, emails, and invoices.
Communicate with government organizations, including the ATO and ASIC.
Reconcile Trust Account and process refunds to clients.
Manage bank and EFTPOS transaction reconciliations.
Maintain petty cash and oversee debtor management.
Attend relevant training sessions and maintain knowledge of legislation.

Technology Proficiency:

MYOB, XERO, Virtual Cabinet, Reckon Elite, MS Office, Photocopier.

About you:

"Can do" attitude with a positive and team-oriented approach.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.
Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Adaptability to handle unexpected situations and a willingness to assist in various office tasks.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset to address issues efficiently.
