They now seek an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to work in Perth, WA.
The Role
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker looking for new challenges and looking to develop professionally.
This is a full time role with an annual salary between $75,000 to $80,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults
Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment, and instruments
Reassembling, test operating, and adjusting equipment
Advising users on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission
Installing electronic instruments and control systems
Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems
Performing routine inspections and maintenance on electronic systems
Calibrating electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance
Collaborating with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot complex issues
Documenting all maintenance and repair activities
Updating and upgrading electronic systems and software as necessary
Providing training and support to junior technicians and apprentices
The Requirements
Formal qualifications in Electronic Engineering or related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience gained in a commercial setting
At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic systems
At least 3 years of experience in equipment reassembly and testing
At least 3 years of experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic systems
Must have proficient time management skills and the ability to manage, prioritise and delegate multiple tasks in order to ensure the desired outcome
Ability to quickly understand complex drawings and prepare general arrangement drawings and layouts
Ability to communicate in a clear and understandable manner
