What You'll Do:
Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead Agile rituals, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure effective team operations.
Ensure High Delivery Standards: Maintain delivery quality by enforcing the Definition of Done, including automated testing and production-readiness.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, coaching the team to adopt best practices.
Manage Dependencies & Remove Blockers: Coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies and remove roadblocks, ensuring smooth project execution.
Oversee Project Delivery: Lead all aspects of project management, including stakeholder communication, quality control, and knowledge management.
Coach & Mentor Teams: Provide guidance in Agile practices, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements
- Project Management Expertise: Significant experience in project management within large, complex environments, preferably in banking and financial services.
- Strategic Planning: Strong strategic planning capabilities with a track record of delivering complex projects across multiple regions and vendors.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, manage, and lead teams, both directly and indirectly.
- Methodology Proficiency: Extensive experience with project methodologies, including Change Management and Technology delivery.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or qualification, along with project management professional accreditation.
- Agile Expertise: Agile certification with demonstrated experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Adaptive Delivery: Experience with Agile and adaptive delivery models and mindsets.
