POTTINGER, JULIE MICHELLE is now looking for an experienced Full-Time Disabled Carer. The disabled carer will be primarily responsible for providing dedicated care and support to a disabled family member, funded through the NDIS.
Responsibilities
• Providing a high standard of care & support to our disabled family member
• Carrying out care, life goals and therapy plans;
• Initiating and implementing our disabled family member’s personal care needs.
• Assisting with activities of daily living;
• Carrying out social engagement activities of our disabled family member in the local communities
Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Essential personal attributes of honesty, reliability, and loyalty.
• A commitment to helping others.
• A caring, empathetic, energetic, and fun-loving nature.
• Willingness to obtain or already have a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Certificate of completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module.
• National Police Clearance.
• Current first aid qualification
• Manual handling experience (desirable).
• A current ‘clean’ driver’s licence.
• Willingness to undertake a medical examination.
• Two personal references to accompany the application.
Position: Full Time
Salary: $65,000 – 80,000 per year
