We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position for a Restaurant Manager in our popular riverside restaurant - Joey’s by Bellissimo Coffee. Joey’s prides itself as one of Brisbane’s favourite dining destinations with a welcoming, warm environment with an amazing team of staff and fresh and quality menu offering.
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
• Leading the team to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and experience
• Working together with our kitchen staff to help create innovative menus that will work well within our restaurant
• Being responsible for the planning and smooth running of events and functions
• Managing and supervising floor and kitchen staff to ensure our service is always as desired
• Being responsible for the restaurant's overall appearance and functionality
• Maximising profitability whilst ensuring the safe and smooth operations of the venue
• Having consideration for our budgets/targets
• Being responsible for the purchase of required items
• Carefully monitoring our stock levels and maintaining records of stock movement
• Accounting for all financial transactions and reconciling figures daily
• Always ensuring that health and safety regulations are met as a top priority
• Creating a personal rapport with our customers and striving to find ways to continually exceed their expectations
• Selecting and training new staff and developing a positive, collaborative team culture
To be a successful candidate, we require the following:
• Possess at least two years’ experience in a similar hospitality leadership role
• Have a natural affinity for customer service and an aptitude for service excellence
• Being competent in team communications and event planning and management
• Strong knowledge of hospitality booking and POS systems
• Experience in recruiting, training and leading front of house and back of house teams
• Be innovative and creative passion for menu and venue design and event staging.
• Be consistent and able to work well in a team and lead by example
• Be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in a busy restaurant always delivering exceptional service
Salary: $75,000 + superannuation + leave.
