We are currently seeking a talented Full-Time Dental Therapist to join our team and enhance our mission of promoting oral health and well-being.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Time Dental Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health, specializing in both Dental Therapy. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering superior dental care and patient education. You will work closely with our team to provide preventative, therapeutic, and restorative services, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Education: Design and conduct engaging educational programs to boost oral health awareness among children, parents, and the broader community.
• Preventative Care: Administer fluoride treatments using remineralizing solutions and desensitizing agents to enhance and protect dental health.
• Dental Procedures: Perform scaling and polishing to eliminate dental deposits, apply non-invasive sealants to prevent decay, and take precise impressions for various dental procedures.
• Radiography: Carry out dental radiographs to evaluate and monitor oral health conditions.
• Anesthesia Administration: Provide local anesthesia through infiltration and mandibular nerve block techniques to ensure patient comfort.
• Restorative Work: Fabricate and adjust full and partial dentures, create custom mouth guards, crowns, metal clasps, inlays, bridges, and other dental aids.
• Denture Maintenance: Repair and adjust denture bases to ensure proper fit and function.
• Collaborative Care: Work under the direction of a Dentist to implement preventative dental procedures and contribute to comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health, with qualifications in Dental Therapy [ANZSCO Skill Level 1].
• Registration: Current AHPRA registration and indemnity insurance.
• Experience: Demonstrated clinical experience in dental therapy, with a high level of proficiency in various procedures.
• Communication: Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and engage patients.
• Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, self-driven, with a strong work ethic and dedication to patient care.
