In this role you will be responsible for caring for Allergy and Immunology patients in a clinic setting. You will be part of the Allergy team, report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work under the supervision of our Allergy/Immunology Doctors. Your duties would include oral food and drug challenges, allergy desensitisation/immunotherapy, skin prick testing, intradermal testing (adults only), spirometry, asthma and allergy education.

- Practicing in accordance with infection control standards
- Practice in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) national Competency standards for Registered Nurses
- Utilising a reflective, critical thinking and evidence-based approach to the clinical care of patients
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion to patients and their families, colleagues and VMOs. Respect and uphold the dignity and rights of consumers, relatives, carers and collaegues.

You will have excellent patient assessment, time management skills and have great clinical judgement. A confident communicator., you will have a positive and warm personality and a passion in working with both children and adults.
You will have:
Essential
- Recent experience within an acute medical clinic/ward setting
- IV cannulation competency
- Valid Victorian Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Desirable
- Experience in working with both children and adults
- Experience in intradermal testing/IDT
