As a Tiling apprentice, you can expect to:
- Assist in preparing surfaces for tiling, including cleaning and leveling
- Learn to cut, shape, and lay tiles accurately to achieve desired patterns and designs
- Assist in the application of adhesives, grout, and sealants
- Observe safety practices and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional tiling projects
- Be proactive in seeking knowledge and improvement in tiling techniques
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the Tiling trade
- Must hold a White Card or able to obtain ASAP
- Hold (or close to obtaining) a current Drivers License and have own reliable transport
- Work Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable
- Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take directions
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from others
Please note, to be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.
