Position: Full Time Wall and Floor Tiler
Location: Dandenong , VIC 3175
Annual Earnings: AUD 75,000 – AUD 85,000 per annum plus Superannuation

residential, commercial and industrial projects. They provide expert advice on tiling design, ensuring
functional and aesthetically pleasing results. Services include underfloor heating, natural stone tiles,
mosaics, and more. With a team of qualified Tilers, the company handle a wide range of projects,
from small repairs to complex installations. To consistently meet the highest standards, we are
seeking an experience Tiler to join the team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Set Floor/Wall Ceramic and Stone as per floor plan in an internal or external set-up and as per standard
service requirements for both our residential and commercial customers
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read floor layout, its plan in detail and aligning with client preferences
• Identify surface dimension, the needed number of tiles and the type of procedures needed to
accomplish the work, including cleaning the floor/wall with prior holes, cracks, etc.
• Prep the floor/wall, measuring the sides (horizontal/vertical dimension), and place markers
• Set and spread the adhesive onto the floor/wall, then place the tiles (e.g., regular/plan,
patterned, mosaics, etc.) accordingly, utilising various materials per customer preference not
limited to cement, terrazzo or other compositions/mixtures
• Adjust and align tiles and stone, according to the set dimensions, fixing the edges and corners
as needed
• Utilise hand and power tools to correct alignment and shape tiles/slates according to the
space, corner and edges including cutting them into shape and other fitting procedures
• Conduct coating to properly set tiles and other waterproofing measures post-laying
procedures
• Clean up the workspace, retrieve/store materials and other post-laying procedures not limited
to removing grout, excess tiles, etc.
• Perform all other decorative and protective finishes as per customer preferences
Required Skills
- Relevant trade qualification
- At least 2 years work experience in the industry as a Wall & Floor Tiler. Strong experience in tile
laying, grouting and waterproofing is a must
- Must have attention to detail and complete jobs to a high standard
- Ability to work on job sites independently unsupervised and also required to work with others when
required.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to deal with our customers
- Be reliable, punctual, ability to work under pressure and positive attitude
- Ability to speak, read, & write in English
- If holding a temporary visa must have unrestricted work rights
- Hold a valid driver licence
