Asphaltech is a leading civil construction company specialising in the production and placement of asphalt throughout Australia. With over 25 years of industry experience, we are known for producing high quality asphalt and some of the most innovative products in the Australian market.
We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and experienced bricklayer / brickpaver to join the Civil Division and work on various projects throughout the Perth Metro area. This is a full-time permanent position paid hourly plus penalties attracting a salary range $72,000 - $76,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Designing and cutting masonry according to site plans and drawings
• Assessing materials required for each project.
• Using various tools and trowels to spread mortar on masonry blocks
• Be able to assist with setting up and mixing cement.
• Be able to use machines for brickwork.
• Be able to complete repair jobs to structures.
• Erecting and dismantling scaffold.
To be successful in this position you should have:
• Experience working in a labour-intensive position.
• Experience working within a similar industry will be highly regarded.
• Australian Trade qualification or equivalent and / or at least three years’ work experience.
• Strong knowledge of working with brickwork and plans.
• An excellent attitude.
• Construction Induction Card -White Card.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence – HR preferred but not essential.
• Machine tickets will be highly regarded.
• Have access to reliable transport.
• Be able to work in a safe and effect manner.
• Motived and reliable and want to work in the industry.
• Able to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
