As an APS6 Performance and Conduct Case Manager, you will report to the Assistant Director and manage a wide range of complex people management issues. This includes case management of performance management, underperformance, code of conduct breaches, workplace conflict, bullying and harassment, dispute resolution, and reviews of action. You will use your specialist knowledge of the Public Service Act 1999 and other relevant legislation to achieve successful outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong understanding of APS employment frameworks
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures
Experience managing investigations into suspected misconduct and performance/underperformance matters
Well-developed negotiation skills
Effective communication skills
Demonstrated project management skills
Demonstrated personal integrity as a trusted advisor to the Executive on sensitive people matters
Desirable qualifications and education
Demonstrated achievements in managing code of conduct investigations
Demonstrated achievements in managing performance/underperformance matters within the APS legislative framework
Certificate IV / Diploma in Government investigations and/or HR qualifications
This role is only open to Australian citizens, and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Baseline Security Clearance.
