Purpose of the Position:
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to the recipients. You will develop individualised care plans, and practice in accordance with national competency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct clinical and personal care to recipients
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with recipients and their families.
• Provides ongoing monitoring of care recipient and/or representative response to intervention
• Identifies, initiates and coordinates therapeutic interventions consistent with the legislated scope of practice and level of competence.
• Implements prescribed interventions (e.g. diagnostic tests, medications) and performs independent nursing interventions (e.g. care recipient and representative education).
• Advocate for person-centred care and uphold recipients’ rights and well-being.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
• Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as Registered Nurse – Division 1.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to achieving positive outcomes for recipients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage workloads effectively.
Desirable:
• Experience in aged care, especially in a Consumer setting.
• Knowledge of the accreditation process and ACFI system
The successful candidate will be offered base salary ranged from $80,000 to $85,000, plus super.
