Your new role
Reporting into the HSEC Manager, you will support and work closely with the Health & Safety Coordinators. You will:
Oversee safe delivery of services provided by HS contractors
Deliver tender assessment services as directly related to HS systems, including evaluation of tender submissions, desktop review of HSMP's and communicating HS requirements during tenderer visits
Monitor HS processes through conducting of inspections and audits, ensuring adequate evidence capture and recording
Provide advice to the business on the application of all HS processes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will require:
Diploma of Work Health and Safety or similar
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Health and Safety professional role
Experience in incident investigation and reporting
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with stakeholders
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Previous experience in emergency response
Willingness to relocate to Bowen, QLD NOTE:
Full Australian working rights are required
