Job Overview:
We are looking to recruit a business developer executive for the export trade lane from Australia to the Pacific islands. The position is based in Brisbane, but frequent travel within Australia and the Pacific region is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and market penetration in the Pacific region.
? Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share and revenue.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
? Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
? Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
? Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
? Reply to quotes, tenders and ensure the follow-up of the key accounts
? Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
? Experience within the freight forwarding industry.
? In-depth knowledge of the Pacific market.
? Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
? Willingness to travel within the Pacific region as needed.
? Fluent French speaker
