We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Issuing squad
The Issuing team @ Cuscal is responsible for delivering comprehensive and customisable card solutions including debit, credit, prepaid cards, mobile payments, and APIs. Our secure, user-friendly services and specialised expertise ensure seamless payment integrations for our clients while enriching the experience they provide for their customers.
As the Senior Business Analyst in our Data and Reporting squad, you will be responsible for delivering seamless client experiences and implementing a suite of new reporting to enable our clients. The responsibilities of the role include:
Eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders, not simply their expressed desires
Working as part of the Development Team to assess solution proposals and establish which will most effectively business needs
Facilitating effective communications between organisational business units
Aligning the needs of the business unit with the capabilities delivered by information technology (i.e., serve as the translator between those groups)
Defining and validating solutions that meet business needs
Work collaboratively with the Product Owners to ensure that sprint goals are met.
About You:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the following skills and experience:
6 years + experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the IT industry within Financial Services sector
At least 3 years' experience in Payments projects (either Real Time or Batch)
Good understanding of PCI
Familiarity with BABOK framework
And experience and or skills in the following technology:
Strong skills with MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Visio
Competent in BPMN, Use Cases, SQL, Specifications ,analytical and conceptual skills
Competent with Atlassian tool set (Jira, Confluence)
Competent in performing data analysis / modeling
Experience in Card Schemes (Visa, MasterCard, eftpos) and Transaction Processing - (ISO8583, eftpos and AS2805)
Exposure to Cards & Payments, preferably in Acquiring, or Issuing.
Desirable knowledge and experience in Schemes Compliance (Schemes Release), Visa & MasterCard, ISO8583, eftpos, AS2805, Transactional Switching
