Seeking an experienced EL1 Project Manager to work within Property Services Branch in Government Department Your new company
An integral Federal Government Department with approximately 1000 staff members, who support the functions and provide essential services to one of our nations most important buildings. Within the Property Services branch, they are seeking an experienced EL1 Project Manager.
Your new role
The EL1 Project Manager leads a team of inhouse technical specialists to provide an active interface between major capital works projects, contract management, asset and infrastructure procurement, and maintenance integration.
Maintain expert project and asset management knowledge and technical expertise
Lead and develop a small team of technical professionals to communicate clear and accurate technical information between the team and external project stakeholders.
Critically analyse projects and asset management performance and adjust strategies to ensure optimum outcomes for building services and fire compliance
Actively engage in risk analysis and risk management activities, design development, project program research and review for building services and fire compliance
Cultivate productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate the use of specialist building service providers, including contractors and consultants
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the government environment.
Must have commonwealth government project management and tender experience
Exposure and understanding to construction management
Strong leadership abilities and communication skills
You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance

Non-ongoing (Fixed term contract) offering salary range of approx. $114k - $130k + 15.4% super + APS Benefits
S26 transfer option is available if you are a current EL1 within the Federal Government.
