We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stormwater Planner to join a leading Government organisation where you will be responsible for planning, identifying, and managing stormwater assets for urban runoff conveyance, treatment, storage, and harvesting. This role includes integrating harvested stormwater with the recycled water network for distribution to businesses and irrigation sites, requiring close collaboration with internal stakeholders, local and state government agencies, and the private sector.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the assessment of stormwater aspects within relevant development applications and provide timely feedback to internal and external stakeholders
Act as an active participant and technical advisor in the development and deployment of Stormwater Schemes
Provide expert technical advice regarding stormwater planning progress and integration with the recycled water distribution network.
Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify the timing and deployment of key drainage infrastructure.
Prepare strategies, plans, submissions, and reports relevant to waterways management.
