They a full IT solutions provider that offers a range of expertise targeting the Financial Services, Communications, Retail, High-Technology and Government and Educational Sector industries through Australia.
They now seek an experienced Accountant to join the team in Epping, Victoria.

The Role:
This is for a full-time role with an annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation and will be based in their office in Epping, VIC.
The Responsibilities:
Preparing of Financial statements & month-end accounts and presenting reports to the management.
Conducting financial analysis and generating accurate and timely variance reports.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and enhance operation efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Maintaining internal control systems and assisting with implementation of financial, operational, and management control procedures/policies.
Examining costs, incomes, and operational expenditures against budget and policies.
Supporting to accounting & financial process improvements, and advising on the selection/development of computer-based accounting/ERP system.
Liaise with stakeholders (banks, suppliers & contractors) and prepare monthly/yearly cash flow forecasts
Preparation and submission of Business Activity Statement (BAS) and assist with the payroll activities.
Assist & undertake departments analysis and provide support to the departmental process & policy improvements.
The Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary degree qualifications in accounting
Must have at least 3 years’ accounting experience in a professional/commercial capacity gained within Australia
CPA/CA completed
At least 3 years’ commercial experience in MYOB Accounting and ERP software knowledge.
Must have 3 years’ intermediate knowledge and experience with company income tax and GST
Must have 3 years’ with statutory reporting for BAS, Annual reports, ASIC and ATO reporting
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanour
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under immense pressure at times
