HEAD CHEF
The Barn at Blue Wren Farm
Our client, Blue Wren Farm in Mudgee, is looking for Head Chef working across their onsite flagship restaurant ‘The Barn’ as well as their esteemed wedding venue.
Set on a vineyard in the heart of Mudgee wine region, The Barn offers a relaxed dining experience with a focus on simple, seasonal, delicious food. Open for lunch, Thursdays to Mondays, and dinner from Thursday to Saturday, the menu is contemporary and seasonally driven to showcase local produce.
A permanent full-time position is available for an experienced Head Chef who would like the opportunity to join an exciting team of people who are passionate about great food and hospitality.
The right candidate will receive an attractive salary package including relocation assistance if required.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:
· Proven experience in a similar role

· Proven managerial skills

· Excellent problem solving
Responsibilities:
· Full time opportunity, 5 days per week
· Efficient management of the restaurant kitchen as well as overseeing delivery of catering for weddings and events.
· Training, development and performance management of staff
· Inspire, lead and energise your team to be their best
· Create and maintain high standards, policies and procedures
