About the Role:
Team Global Express is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and driven individual to join our Administration Team on a Permanent Basis at our Altona Depot. The position operates on the PM shift, from 5pm to 1am, Monday to Friday. The role involves data entry of consignment notes, manifesting, and dispatching duties for our linehaul operations. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team and ensure efficient operation of the office.
What you'll do:
Consignment Note Data Entry :
Verify and cross-check the accuracy of consignment information, including sender and receiver details, shipment contents, special instructions, and dangerous goods.
Handle pallets containing CHEP/Loscam information.
Manifesting and Dispatching :
Create, update, and dispatch linehaul manifests.
Split consignments upon request and through reports.
Consolidate and send data reports nightly to our linehaul country carriers.
