We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team. We’re looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our dynamic team in NSW. This full-function accounting role will support the day-to-day accounting for the business. This role will involve the following duties but not limited to:
About the Role:
- Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
- Liaising with ATO, ASIC, Service NSW, and solicitors on behalf of the clients
- Assisting to preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of director
- Assisting to conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits, and advising on matters such as the purchase and sale of businesses and taxation
- Examining operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure
- Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
- Assisting director to provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
- Preparing taxation returns and Business Activity Statements for individuals/ sole traders.
- Assisting in preparation of tax returns and Business Activity Statements for other entities.
- Liaising with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangement
- Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems
- Maintaining internal control systems
- Client and staff Management
- Accounts Receivables and Payables of our entity
- Business Activity Statement lodgement for all entities
- Processing payroll for our entity and the clients
- Superannuation processing for our entity and the clients
- Assisting clients with company and business registration
- Providing professional service to clients with applying ABN, GST and PAYG withholding for their business start-up
- Preparation of accounting letter for clients
About the applicant:
*Degree qualified (majoring in Accounting or Finance)
* At least two years of experience in the field (preferable)
* Highly skilled with accounting software and CRM.
* A strong desire to work in a globally diverse business
* Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
Other details:
Working Hours: 38 hours / per week
Work experience: At least two years of experience as an accountant.
Education/Skills: Bachelor of Professional Accounting/ Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)
Salary: $75,000- $80,000+ Superannuation
