SAFETY ADVISOR, SUNSHINE COAST Your new company A great opportunity has come to fruition to join well-regarded commercial builder on the Sunshine Coast. With a long history on the coast, they build a variety of projects, from Schools, to Child Care Centres, to Luxury Units. Your new role This role will see you managing safety for their business across the Sunshine Coast region, for both private and public sector clients. You will undertake site inspections, safety audits, implement policies and procedures, whilst also maintaining their safety systems, including Hammertech. You will be looked upon to drive a positive safety culture, taking a pro-active team approach to any potential safety issues. What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you must have experience as a Safety Advisor on construction projects. Experience on medium rise unit developments and / or school projects will be well regarded, but not essential. Good IT skills are preferred, while candidates who have construction experience, perhaps as a Foreman, and wanting to transition across to safety are also encouraged to apply. A minimum of a Certificate IV in OH&S is essential to be considered for this role, while a Diploma in WH&S would be well regarded.
Only candidates based in Australia will be considered and preferably currently based (or soon to be) on the Sunshine Coast.
What you'll get in return Salary will be commensurate with experience, while a range between $100k to $120k base is a good indicator, along with a fully maintained vehicle.
