Transition to Perioperative Nursing Practice Program- Instrument/Circulating Enrolled Nurse - Northern Beaches Hospital Are you an experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) interested in transitioning your career to work in Theatres? About us Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients. NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards. About the role: We have designed a market leading 12-week Introduction to Perioperative Nursing (Instrument/Circulating) program, with the successful participant to join our team on a full time basis.

Be partnered with highly experienced Theatre Clinical Facilitators who are dedicated in supporting your development
Experience a blended learning program which is focused on on-the-job training and supported by comprehensive Training Materials and Coaching
If you are high performing and stay with us for 12mths+ at a minimum of 30 hours a week, we will continue to invest in your on-going growth by supporting you to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing

About you To be successful in your application for this program, you will need:

Permanent work rights within Australia with no restrictions (unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this program)
At least 12 months' experience post registration in Acute Care
Current APHRA registration
Have a Working with Children Check or be willing to get one
Be able to commit to a rotating roster including AM, PM/nights, weekends and public holidays, with shifts ranging from 8 - 10 hours
IV Endorsement as an Enrolled Nurse
A genuine passion to transition into the theatre environment
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

Remuneration: This position will be paid in accordance with Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses' and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 and will pay between $32.13 - $34.96 per hour To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
