Early Morning start!
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Foodservice Driver to join our clients Distribution team based in Smithfield. Multiple positions.
This role will see you delivering foodservice products to cafes, pubs and restaurants. Some heavy lifting involved. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.
In order to be successful for this position you will need to demonstrate and meet the following criteria:
MR / HR license – unrestricted
Thorough knowledge of Sydney.
Must be flexible with hours.
Must be punctual and well presented.
Ensure that truck is kept in a clean and tidy manner
Minimum 1 years driving experience in a similar role
Multi-drop Experience (12 - 25 daily drops)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills
Well presented with good customer service skills
You will be required to:
- Manually unload freight
- Be involved with relevant paper work the occasional banking.
- Carry out all duties within set time frames
- Follow instructions of manager and clients
You must be,
- Having full working rights in Australia.
- punctual and reliable
- fit, energetic and able to lift 25kg
Accuracy in checking off stock is very important. Pay is above award wages.
If Successful, you are to supply an RTA driving record dated within 1 week of starting.
Employment is subject to a current and full driver’s license at all times and right to work in Australia. Also subject to a fitness for work for manual handling / pre-existing injuries can be assessed in some way.
